"Steps to a Successful Research Placement"
Meet science and engineering students currently doing research on campus and in the medical science labs. Students will share their personal experiences on how they found their research mentor and what is expected of them in the lab. Thursday, October 1st, 3:00-4:00PM, 183 Chem/Phys Bldg.
The AMSTEMM (Appalachian and Minority Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Majors) Program at the University of Kentucky recruits, retains, and graduates Appalachian and Minority Students enrolled in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics majors, by providing a community environment, a network of support services, and numerous academic enhancement opportunities while on the UK campus.
